Operation

Spanning from San Diego to Ventura County, we have completed a wide array of landscape projects with all types of budgets. Regardless of size, all projects are granted the attention and care that are necessary for a successful landscape.

Our main focus is on custom residential landscape design and installation. Some of our projects include scenic coastal loverlooks, original craftsman homes, 1/2 acre plus parcels, historical preservation homes, and many other unique settings. Our fortes are as follows:

  • colored concepts & graphic renderings
  • architectural plan sets for city approval
  • designing ‘themed’ landscapes
  • drought tolerant planting designs
  • custom low voltage lighting systems
  • water-effecient irrigation systems

Background

Dominic Masiello, founder of dp environments, had a vision of combining art, architecture, and his love for the outdoors into a business venture that would grow to incredible heights. Dominic would have landscape design and installation projects featured on numerous occasions on HGTV shows like ‘Landscapers Challenge’ and ‘Get Out Way Out’ bringing in clients from all regions of Southern California.

Dominic is a true visionary in developing projects that not only create a benchmark for design aesthetics, but set an example for creating environments which are self-sustainable and reduce the ecological footprint by using local natural materials, low water use drip systems, and native plant material.

Dominic also runs a plant delivery service for Southern California called Budget Plants.

A word from Dominic

dominic_imageAs a landscape professional, I believe my duty is two-fold. I first must always recognize that the client has a vision that he/she wants to achieve. Sometimes as a designer, I just have to listen. A true understanding of the client’s wishes is the first step to a successful project. Next, I believe I have been charged with creating environments that are conscious of our ecosystem. God has given this earth to us and we are to enjoy it aboundantly as well as take care of it graciously. These two design mentalities have never let me down.
